In the west, deep within the monsoon forests of Karnataka, originating from a microclimate of perfection beyond our imagination, in southern India, the coffee we have been waiting for is produced: Chickmagalur Karnataka.

Cultivated since ancient times and refined over and over in the area around the Western Ghats near the town of Chikmagalur, at elevations of about 1100 meters, we find in the village of Magalùr the only plantation with a homogeneous existence of an autonomous variant of Arabica, found only here, which ancient procedures have transformed into a unique expression of coffee. It is harvested only through a manual picking process and washed twice.

In the cup, Chickmagalur expands and transcends the boundaries of the sensory universe known so far, while the depth in structure and body will seduce your mind with the persistence of cocoa and chocolate flavors.

Serving

Espresso preparation shines with a stable crema, fine pores, and a lush hazelnut brown color with specks of ocher. Concentrated and sustained, with hints of chocolate, and tones of freshly baked warm bread, it is a challenge to our finest sense, the nose.

This coffee overwhelms the senses with this compact bar of intense chocolate fullness, spatially perceptible.

The true fascination is revealed only in the combination of Chikmagalur as a single or double espresso with the right amount of milk foam: absolute harmony, a flattering enticement of the finest cocoa, unlimited reverberation.

To complete the long version: whether pure or with normal, unfoamed milk, it revisits the basic themes of the concentrate, but in a more restrained, more suggestive manner.
